Refunds & Cancellations
The rules below match exactly what Cowriter's booking system enforces.

| Scenario | What happens |
|---|---|
| You cancel more than 24 hours before the session | Full refund. |
| You cancel less than 24 hours before the session | No refund. The writer has held the time for you. |
| The writer does not show up | Automatic full refund once the no-show is reported and confirmed. |
| You (the guest) do not show up | No refund. The writer is paid in full. |
| You reschedule at least 24 hours before the session | Free. You can reschedule up to 2 times per booking. |
| Membership | Cancel any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds. |
How refunds are issued
Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, refunds can take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
Session extensions are free, at the writer's discretion, and don't change the refund rules for the original booking.
